Students come to me at every stage of the writing process. Some need a final polish or an objective reader's perspective, and some want a fresh start with brainstorming. We'll focus on exactly what matters most to you, in one session or over time. Together, we'll develop a college admissions package that boosts your confidence and highlights your individuality. You'll pay only for what you need.

Rate: $150/hour

Students and families might need assistance with:

●  Common App personal statement (brainstorming, drafting, or editing)

●  Scholarship essays

●  Supplemental essays

●  College list planning

●  Common App activities list

●  Resume proofreading

●  UCAS / CAO support

Typical Student Experience:

• Session 1 (60 min): Brainstorming conversation to identify the best prompt, develop ideas, and build a strong outline.
• Session 2 (60 min): Collaborative drafting with real-time feedback on structure, clarity, and impact.
• Sessions 3 & 4 (two 30-min sessions): Finalizing and polishing, refining ideas, word choice, and narrative flow. Time permitting, we can begin work on supplements.

Parents can elect to receive a follow-up email or text after each session.

SERVICE 2: Outsider Review 

An experienced reader takes a fresh look at your polished essay to catch grammar mistakes, improve flow, and make sure your message lands with someone who doesn't know you. Includes one comprehensive reading and editing session with detailed feedback delivered in a Google Doc.
